John Heasman is a multi-time CISO, currently at Proof, a platform for verifying identities in high-stakes digital transactions. He has over two decades securing global technology companies, building information security teams, and following his passion: finding sweet bugs.
He has spoken at Black Hat, DEF CON, OWASP AppSec, and many BSides on everything from firmware rootkits to vulnerabilities in managed languages to the mechanics of deepfake. He is the co-author of two bestselling cybersecurity books.
